Sales Analyst and Forecaster

Job Summary

Evaluation of sales results for Rhodes products, commercial and in development.  Analyze industry trends and develop future sales forecasts. Responsible for aligning forecasting and budgeting assumptions

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing sales forecasts.
  • Interact with Contract Group and Finance to support pricing recommendations and GTN calculations.
  • Liaise with finance to ensure consistent reporting of Net Sales vs. forecast.
  • Coordinate with supply chain team on all S&OP schedules, forecasts, trends, etc.  Ensure alignment with production plans and sales forecasts.
  • Interpret and translate market research output into forecasting assumptions.
  • Monitoring industry trends. 
  • Review and track competitive activity including pricing trends.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 5 plus years of business experience in the pharmaceutical industry with substantial experience in business analysis and forecasting.
  •  Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  •  Experience in forecast planning.  Strong analytical skills.
  •  Must be familiar with IMS database.

Additional Information

Will work closely with VP of Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Supply Chain and  Finance to establish forecasts and budgets.
