Job Summary

Working with a co-promote partner, this role will oversee HCP Promotional and Market Access Marketing Workstreams in support of a new product launch.  Responsibilities include assisting in the development of strategies and completion of tactics, development of marketing plans and oversight of strategic initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for content development and execution including:
    • Core message and creative concept development
    • Value story development
    • Development of core materials for OPDP preclearance (sales aid, journal ad)
    • Partnering with Sales Training in the development of training materials
    • Development of content for a Launch Meeting
    • Oversee development of non-personal promotional materials
  • Execute advisory boards and consultant meetings for the brand—ensuring alignment with brand strategy, tactics and anticipating organizational needs
  • Act as the brand liaison to internal, partner, and field-based teams to ensure alignment and partnership
  • Participate in training sessions for new TBM/DBMs as well as MM personnel as needed
  • Remain current with customer, competitive, and marketplace activity to contribute insights and perspectives to the broader team and brand plan
  • Contribute to the development of the annual brand business plan, create programs and tactics to support the strategy and champion that plan through engagement with cross-functional partners
  • Gain approval for marketing tactics through the required internal review processes
  • Liaise with legal, regulatory and compliance to ensure all marketing activities are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Manage outside agencies and consultants to meet expected project objectives and hold them accountable to agreed upon standards
  • Establish relationships and work with commercial partners to communicate and ensure alignment on strategy and messaging within scope of projects
  • Develop project and tactic assessments and valuations (ROI) that leverage analytics and research to identify successes.
  • Assist with development of new team members and foster a positive culture within the team and with cross-functional colleagues
  • Serves as back-up for team members as needed and direct manager when requested

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10+ years’ experience required

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of MRL and process for development, review and approval of resources
  • Good judgment and internal negotiating skills
  • Effectively communicate with various functional groups to develop and implement marketing plans.
  • Must be able to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and responsibilities and to effectively prioritize and implement.
  • Selling skills only obtainable from direct experience in sales territory.
  • Travel: ≈25% domestic travel
